Summary: In the year of coverless sowing of six species of perennial legumes, the largest yield of green mass of dry matter, metabolic energy, feed units and digestible protein is provided by white clover (Melilotus albus L.), as the
fastest growing crop among leguminous perennial grasses. In the second year of the growing season, the highest yield of dry matter is provided by sowing of sainfoin (Onobrychis arenaria Kit.), and of metabolic energy and
feed units - sainfoin (Onobrychis arenaria Kit.) and white clover (Melilotus albus L.).
