Summary: Abstract. The article shows theoretical questions that are a vision of the lingua-socio-cultural competence of students in the study of the foreign language. The main term used in this article is "lingua-socio-cultural competence" and "lingua-socio-cultural method". The purpose of this article may be considered to be the analysis of abilities to learn a foreign language and develop the lingua-socio-cultural competence of students.
